6’000 nits and moreDaylight on a south-facing façade is the hardest thing an LED screen has to beat. Our outdoor panels start at 6’000 nits, several times the brightness of an indoor wall, so the picture holds its colours at noon and can be turned down at night to stay comfortable, never glaring.

IP65, aluminium or stainless steelAn outdoor screen lives in the weather for years. Panels are sealed to IP65, in an aluminium or stainless-steel structure, and are serviced from the front when there is no access behind: a faulty module is changed on the spot, without dismantling the screen.

A fixed outdoor LED screen is sized for its site and its light, drawn with your architect or your metalworker, and maintained afterwards by the team that installed it. For a date rather than a place, we rent: an outdoor screen on a trailer or on a ground-support frame, brought, run and taken away by our crew, see mobile LED trailers.

A fixed outdoor screen is a permanent installation; a rental screen for an event is built from other panels. Both are sealed for the weather. What follows is what you can plan with; the rest comes with the written offer, matched to your site.

Which pixel pitch do I need for my viewing distance?
Outdoors, P3.9: sharp for the first rows on a forecourt or in front of a stage, and clear from across a square or from the road. The size follows your site, so we confirm it with you, on your plans or on site if necessary.
How big can the screen be?
There is no fixed maximum: panels add up in both directions. The site sets the limit: what the façade or the foundation can carry, the wind load at that height, the power available, and how far people stand. We check all four, on your plans or on site if necessary, and come back with the largest screen the site can carry.
Does it stay readable in full sun? And at night?
Yes. Outdoor panels start at 6’000 nits, several times an indoor wall, so the picture holds at noon on a south-facing façade. At night the brightness is turned down, so the screen stays comfortable for the neighbourhood.
Do I need a permit for an outdoor LED screen?
For a fixed screen on a façade or a mast, usually yes: the rules depend on the commune and the canton, and some limit brightness or content at night. Check with your commune before the project; the offer is built on the screen you are allowed to install. A rental screen for an event follows the event’s own authorisation.
What happens if a panel fails?
It comes out on its own, from the front when there is no access behind, from the back when there is, and is replaced without touching its neighbours. We hold spare panels for the screens we install.
Can I drive the content remotely?
Yes. An outdoor LED screen can run on DATAVSN, our own CMS hosted in Switzerland: publish, schedule and update from anywhere, with anonymous audience recognition and interactivity as later layers. It stays optional: the screen takes your own sources just as well.
