Most people who order an LED wall in Bern have never done it before. You know what the audience should see. What you cannot judge from the outside is whether the supplier has read the room properly, priced the whole job, and will still be reachable if something fails.

Pixel pitch, brightness, processing, rigging loads. Turning a room and an audience into the right specification is our job. We advise on the format and explain it in plain language before you commit. The technical survey is part of the job, and it sits on the quote like every other line.

What we deliver in Bern

Bern runs on trade fairs, federal business and congresses. Most of what we install here goes into a hall for four days, then comes out again. Some of it stays in a shop window under the arcades for years. We do both, with four formats and the software that runs them, from one supplier. Rent for a trade fair or install permanently: the same equipment, the same crew, the same software. Feasibility study, technical survey, transport, installation, content and teardown are all part of the service, and all costed up front.

Ten districts. Two languages.

The canton of Bern holds 346 communes across ten administrative districts. Read the map the way business does and it runs from a bilingual city on the Aare to the Bernese Oberland: federal offices and congresses in the middle, French-speaking Jura bernois to the north-west, and the resort economy of Interlaken and Thun to the south.

BERNEXPO, Wankdorf

Six halls with around 40,000 m2 of event space and 100,000 m2 of outdoor ground, with halls up to ten metres clear for two-storey stands. Hall walls, hanging banners and full-height LED, on build slots that fall between two fairs.
The Festhalle, STAGE and CUBE

A multifunction building of more than 21,300 m2 that opened in 2025 and takes up to 9,000 people, with a 4,300 m2 hall at ground level and a congress auditorium above it. Stage LED, side screens and foyer displays, in a shell built for events rather than adapted to them.
Kursaal Bern, Schänzli

Congresses, general meetings and gala evenings above the old town, on a site that runs a hotel, a congress centre and a restaurant at once. Keynote walls, foyer totems and breakout displays, with load-in through a working hotel.
The federal quarter and the associations

Federal offices, professional associations and national federations, all headquartered within walking distance of each other. Lobby walls, meeting-room screens and visitor displays, for buildings where the technical rules are set by the estate and not by the tenant.
Spitalgasse, Marktgasse and the arcades, retail

Window displays, transparent LED and in-store walls along kilometres of covered arcades in a UNESCO old town, where the shopfront is listed and the permit comes before the screen.
Biel/Bienne, Thun and the Oberland

Watchmaking and precision industry to the north, the resort and congress economy to the south. Reception walls, showroom screens and event LED, on sites where the drive matters as much as the build.

In Bern we fitted out a client with nine screens and twenty-eight tablets, all running on a content system we developed for them.

The shop window screens carry presence detection: the video changes when someone walks past. The tablets run the content system alone, without detection.

How fast can you deliver in the canton of Bern?

For standard indoor formats we normally cover a request within a few days, subject to what is already out on other jobs. Large outdoor walls and custom builds need more lead time, mostly because of rigging and structure rather than the panels themselves. Tell us the date first and we will say straight away whether it is realistic.

What screen sizes can I get?

From a 3 m² indoor backdrop to walls of 30 m² and beyond. LED is modular, so the surface is built to your room rather than picked from a catalogue: we work back from viewing distance, ceiling height and the content you want to show, then propose a pitch (P3.9, P2.6 or finer) that stays sharp at the distance your audience actually stands.

Do you know the Bern venues, or do I have to brief you?

We deliver to BERNEXPO, the Festhalle, the STAGE and the CUBE, the Kursaal and the federal quarter, as well as hotels, showrooms and arcades across the ten districts. For every booking we contact the venue's technical office ourselves to confirm load limits, access times and build windows. That part is our job, not yours.

What happens if something fails during the event?

On single-day events our crew stays with you; on longer runs, on site cover is available on request. Outside that, one call is enough and a technician comes out. Spare panels and a spare processor travel with every rig, so a failed module is swapped without taking the wall down.

Can I rent a hologram instead of a screen?

Yes. HYPERVSN 3D units and HoloBox are available on the same daily rates, and they are often the better answer in a lobby or on a small stand where a wall would simply not fit. We can also produce the 3D content, since a hologram running stock footage is a waste of the format.

What does a rental actually cost?

It depends on the surface, the duration, the access and how much rigging the venue requires, which is why we quote a brief rather than publish a price list. Delivery, setup, crew and teardown are inside the figure. Send us the dates and the format and you get a firm number in writing.

Do you deliver outside the canton, or abroad?

All 26 Swiss cantons, and across the border for Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France and Italy. Transport is quoted inside the same figure, so a project in Biel/Bienne and a project in Interlaken are read the same way on paper.

Can I buy rather than rent?

Yes, and many clients start with a rental precisely to test the format before investing. We sell and install permanent LED, LCD, OLED, transparent displays, totems and kiosks, all driven by our own DATAVSN software, with maintenance and support handled by the same team.
