A transparent OLED panel lights each pixel itself and needs no backlight. Switched off, you see through it; switched on, the picture seems to float on the glass while the object placed behind it stays visible.

A contrast of 150’000:1, a 178° viewing angle and 10-bit colour: fine detail holds at arm’s length, where a display case or a counter is looked at. Transparent LED suits long distances and large surfaces; transparent OLED is the one for close range, indoors.

Capacitive touch, optional

Both formats take an optional capacitive touch layer: visitors swipe, tap and browse the content on the glass itself. The display runs from any HDMI source, or from an optional built-in Android or Windows player.

Can I rent a transparent OLED display?

No. Transparent displays are sold, not rented: we supply and install them in Switzerland, with a 2-year warranty.

What sizes are available?

Two standard formats: 55-inch (1’225.5 × 782.4 mm, 1920 × 1080) and 30-inch (681 × 424 mm, 1366 × 768), on its stand (55-inch) or its base (30-inch), or as a module to build into your furniture. 77-inch modules and video walls made of several modules are available on request.

How transparent is a transparent OLED?

43%. Switched off, you see through the glass; switched on, the picture seems to float on it and the object behind stays visible.

Can it be used in a shop window or in the sun?

No. Transparent OLED is not bright enough for a shop window: it is an indoor display, read from up close, and it must stay out of direct sunlight. For a display case in the sun, transparent MicroLED is the right product; for the glazing of a shop front, invisible holographic LED.

Is it a touchscreen?

Touch is an option. Both formats take a capacitive touch layer, so visitors can swipe, tap and browse the content on the glass.

What do I need to run content on it?

An HDMI source is enough: the display has two HDMI inputs, USB and RS232. An Android or Windows player can be built in as an option.
